Once known to every school child, many of these documents have fallen into obscurity in more recent years. • John Philip Sousa (1854-1932) - This page, highlighting one of America's most popular composers, introduces visitors to the man behind such American favorites as "Stars and Stripes Forever" (America's official march), "El Capitan," and other popular tunes.
